    a few more

do you still think you made the right move coming to Normandy ?

do you consider your attitudes / behaviour have changed since moving to France ?

What annoys you most about France (shopping / opening hours, bureaucracy, etc.)

My suggestion for polls. Keep on doing the plumbing work at sensible prices, chaps. Did I misunderstand the question?

Seriously, I’m not a great fan of polls. To achieve anything they have to be one word answers such as In/Out, Yes/No, Never/Maybe, Labour/Conservative or in Scotland SNP/SNP, with an optional Don’t Know. As soon as you start asking questions like Why? it becomes a vox-pop or a discussion topic rather than a poll. But you could try asking ‘Do you think you will eventually go back to the UK?’ or as WCB suggested ‘do you still think you made the right move coming to Normandy?’

    Caen Versus Calais
    Tea versus coffee
    Cats v dogs
    Striking French workers versus police
    Butter versus spreads
    Zinc guttering versus plastic
But surely it should be the brexit…this month …a subject that will touch us all.

Thanks for spotting that @WestCountryBoy. The link has been fixed so it takes you to a Polls page now where you can vote on a variety of topics and see the collective wisdom of the community.

    Thanks

    Tom
