I just received notification from the UK that

my pension will increase this April. Not by

a lot but better than a decrease. It was posted

from Schiedam 3109. In Holland. Does that

mean the postal service in Wolverhampton is

    no longer operational ?

I have noticed this over the years with certain companies, usually banks and government departments.Have never quite understood how it can be more cost effective to send mail via Holland.

That is because it is probably printed out in Holland put in an envelope there and sent out by TNT Many uk govt depts use this system for bulk mail They will be sending out thousands of pension increases to expats in Europe and TNT will be cheaper than Royal Mail
